About

Cedar Playbook started as a shared document between three friends who kept arguing about which games were worth the storage space. We decided to turn those arguments into something useful, and the site grew from there into a small editorial corner for mobile players.,Everybody on the team actually plays. When we review a game we commit to at least a few real sessions across different situations: at home on Wi-Fi, on the train with spotty data, and with the screen brightness turned down to save battery. That mix usually tells you more than a trailer ever will.,We pick games by genre on purpose, so the catalog does not turn into fifty variations of the same puzzle. RPGs, strategy, racing, adventure and the occasional cozy simulator all get a seat. If a game only shines on a tablet or chews through your battery in twenty minutes, we say so plainly.,Nothing here is sponsored. We are not trying to sell you anything, and we do not take payment for a kind score. The goal is simple: help you decide whether a game is worth the download before your phone fills up again.

Markus Lindqvist — Markus has been reviewing mobile games since the early touch-screen days and still tests everything on a mid-range phone, because that is what most people actually own.
