Strategy
Frontline Horizon
★★★★☆ 4.1
Frontline Horizon is a proper strategy game that did not get dumbed down for phones. You build a base, scout the map, and send squads out with drawn movement paths. The learning curve is steeper than most mobile titles, which I respect.
The touch controls took me a session to trust, but drag-selecting units and tapping targets eventually felt natural. There is a handy pause-and-plan mode that I used a lot, especially one-handed on the couch. It is clearly happier in landscape with two thumbs.
Fair warning: this one is hungry. My phone warmed up and the battery dropped quickly during long matches, so keep a charger nearby for marathon sessions. Worth it if you crave real tactical depth.
